The Only Three Things You Will Ever Need to Lose Weight

Dieting and weight loss are probably two of the most exploited business opportunities in modern society. Fear sells products and not fitting in is a very scary thing. Even though nobody is judging you on your weight, your mind will tell you otherwise and that insecurity is usually enough to get you to drop lots of money on pills, prepackaged food and odd exercise equipment. The fact of the matter is that humans simply weren't built for modern work environments and we rarely get exercise by natural means. Even though everybody is different, the human body reacts in very similar ways when we want to increase or decrease fat and muscle. Although they would have you believe it's a very difficult process, losing weight is scientifically very simple, but disciplinarily, incredibly difficult. Before you even start, make sure that you replace every thought of "losing weight" with "being healthy" because that is simply what is most important.

Knowledge of Nutrition
The body is an ecosystem and if you don't know what you're putting into it, you really have no idea what is going to happen to it as a result. While having a fantastic knowledge of nutrition and vitamins is great for an understanding of perfect balance, it's certainly not a requirement. You know which foods are good for you and which aren't and simply looking at nutrition facts table should clear up any confusion you might have.

Most of us learned about the food pyramid in high school. Unfortunately many of us don't follow the guidelines set out in the food pyramid, even though we know we would be healthier and probably lose some weight. Start reading nutrition labels and ingredient lists to find which food items are lower in sodium (salt), sugars, saturated, and trans fats. Try choosing those that are higher in fiber, protein, unsaturated fats, vitamins, and minerals. Making healthy food choices takes some time and effort, but the positive health benefits from eating a healthy diet is well worth that extra effort.

Exercise
Human bodies have evolved to be hunter-gatherers and as such, needed a lot of running and walking to keep them in proper shape. Today, we don't need to walk anywhere so we have to make up for it with exercise. If you want to lose weight, doing stuff is an absolute necessity. Don't believe all these miracle pills and other diets that claim to make you into a superman without doing any exercise. Their claims are simply unnatural and probably very unhealthy. Exercise is a requirement for any healthy human body, which really should be your goal.

Do whatever you can to stay active. If you hate running, or are scared of the gym, take up a sport that you used to play as a kid. Ride you bike, hit the treadmill, start playing tennis... do anything that gets you moving and keeps you happy. Once you have achieved a consistent active lifestyle, you'll begin to feel better. Stress levels decrease in people who exercise regularly, and your body will also feel better. You'll breathe deeper, run further, and smile more. Seriously, exercise makes your life better and if you leave it out of your weight loss routine, you will be worse off for it.

Help
Obviously, if losing weight fast were as simple as I've stated in the paragraphs above, there wouldn't be 63.1% of us overweight. I think that the biggest problem with obesity and weight loss is the simple fact that our society encourages laziness. Sit on the couch and watch advertising; it's what make America America but it won't let you burn many calories. American businesses make money by selling products to Americans and they do that by advertising to you. The couch is your enemy and the most powerful forces in corporate America back it, so winning this battle with the bulge is going to take some assistance.

Personally, I find that procrastination is the single biggest obstacle in my way when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. Let's face it, sitting on the couch is easy and so is putting stuff off. The problem with procrastination is that, like everything else, the more you do it, the better you get at it. There are, however, a number of really excellent ways to battle this laziness.

First of all, get a friend. Social support is another thing that has gone the way of the buffalo with our modern society and it's really really important to both mental and physical well-being. Get a friend, lover, child or anybody else you happen to get along with to hold you to your goals. Somebody eating the same diet as you and exercising with your plan will increase your chances of successfully changing your lifestyle dramatically. You really have to keep each other motivated and the bigger the community, the more crushing the guilt will be when you fall off.

If people aren't your thing, go online and find a community that wants to help you be healthier. There are plenty of them, but I find that the weight loss support forum is probably the most supportive and genuine group I have found. The more you integrate with the community that you choose to become a part of, the better your results will be and the better you will feel.

Also in the help category will be things like recipe books and other support materials, but I think what is most important is that you realize just how much better life is when you are healthy. YOU are the game changer and ultimately, it is you that has to make the decision to be a healthier person. Please don't expect to be able to take a pill and lose weight because nothing worth having is that simple. You will feel accomplished, more confident, healthier, and your life will simply be better if you completely change your lifestyle to accommodate your body. After all, you've only got one.

6 Common Female Bodybuilding Errors

By Karen Sessions NSCA-CPT
How do you build beautiful female muscle? Many might say muscle is built by weight training, but that's only part of the equation.
Now, how do you build beautiful female muscle? The answer is weight training with the proper intensity, right form, and training just enough to stimulate growth.
If building muscle was so easy, how come so many ladies aren't building desired muscle mass so easily?
It's because many ladies are falling victim to the 6 common female bodybuilding errors.
When you can identify the 6 common female bodybuilding errors you can tweak your training program and successfully make satisfying muscle gains.

Female Bodybuilding Error #1

Not challenging oneself is the biggest muscle building mistake I witness. Granted, some women train hard, but few challenge themselves each training session.
You can squat 185 pounds for 8 reps and work hard, but unless you challenge your body to do one more rep or 5-10 more pounds, your muscle gains will be stagnant.
Muscle growth occurs when maximal force is applied using progressive overload.

Female Bodybuilding Error #2

Failure to employ heavy compound exercises is another training issue. You are not going to build well-developed and dense muscle by doing chest flys and leg extensions.
A compound exercise is a multi-joint exercise, where all the muscles and joints of that specific area are called upon to execute the movement. Compound exercises are the backbone to any muscle building program.
If your training program is lacking compound exercises, it's lacking muscle growth potential.

Female Bodybuilding Error #3

Lack of consistency is the third muscle growth error I witness. You are not going to build muscle by working out haphazardly. You have to set a scheduled plan and follow it with full force.

Female Bodybuilding Error #4

Failure to give a program enough time to prove itself is another common error. If you want your muscle building program to give you results, you have to be patient.
Jumping from one program to the next is only cheating yourself. How are you going to find out what works for your body if you continually change programs each week without rhyme or reason?
If you want to ensure muscle building success, log your workouts so you can visually see the progression, and be sure that you are challenging your muscles every workout.

Female Bodybuilding Error #5
Expecting overnight changes is a very common female bodybuilding error. You can make changes, but they are not going to appear overnight.
When you see well-developed built ladies, they worked hard for that physique. They didn't just pick up a weight and eat right and have that body overnight. Such well-built physiques followed the proper training principals and avoided these common female bodybuilding mistakes.

Female Bodybuilding Error #6

Another common female bodybuilding error is training too often. Don't say you are not guilty of it because everyone has trained too much at one time or another.
Weight training for muscle growth doesn't need to be a weight training marathon, and you don't need endless sets and reps every day in the gym. In fact, if you are guilty of overtraining, you will halt your muscle growth.
The purpose of weight training is to tear down the muscle so it can rebuild into a stronger and dense unit. Once you tear down the muscle in the gym, the work is done.
You can have a stable muscle building program just by training 3 times a week for 45 minutes, doing about 3 exercises per muscle group, 2-3 sets of 4-8 reps.
That's it. More is not always better.

Conclusion to 6 Common Female Bodybuilding Errors

If you are serious about building muscle, then stop the training marathons. Set a schedule of training 3 days a week and follow one program for at least 8 weeks to give it a fair shake. Be consistent and don't expect overnight miracles.

Martial Arts – An Excellent Alternative

Let’s face it, for some of us the “routine” of going to the gym, lifting weights and spending time on the static cardio machines just isn’t all that appealing anymore. In fact what is it we are accomplishing anyways, aside from the health and aesthetic benefits? Is there a practical application of being able to incline bench press 400 pounds, or 90-pound dumbbell curls?

Well I am sure there are those that would argue there is, but let’s take a look at a practical alternative to the gym that will get you very fit, train your core, balance and coordination, all the things that we use everyday. That alternative is the martial arts.

The martial arts prove that there are viable alternatives to traditional training methods, and one that will not only help you achieve certain fitness goals but teach you self-defense, help build confidence, and lay out a path of goals ahead of you that will keep you coming back, wanting to learn more.

People of all ages are taking martial arts worldwide. Tae kwon do a Korean martial has a loyal following of over 70 million practitioners.

How effective are the Martial Arts for Fitness?

Improved Proprioception: Okay proprioception, that’s a big word but it is basically something akin to “muscle sense” or our body’s ability to sense whether it is moving and where the different body parts are in relation to each other.

A Chinese study on the martial art of Tai Chi showed that elderly practitioners of this art showed better proprioception at the ankle and knee joints than sedentary controls, and better ankle kinaesthesis than swimmers or runners.

April, 2003 there was a study on the Korean martial art soo bahk do (SBD) to compare the middle-aged practitioners of this martial art to a group of sedentary individuals. The test group was comprised of 18 individuals, 14 of whom were men and 4 women aged between 40-60 years old. 9 individuals were practitioners of SBD, and the other 9 were sedentary, the participants where matched for age and sex.

The following things were tested: body composition, balance, flexibility, quadriceps strength, grip strength, muscle endurance, and aerobic capacity.
The results of the test were quite impressive, and were conclusive. The SBD practitioners displayed greater aerobic capacity, balance, flexibility, muscle endurance, and strength, and less body fat (there was a remarkable 12% difference) than the sedentary controls. The SBD practitioners were able to do nearly 250% more pushups and twice as many sit-ups in the allotted time. SBD is an excellent form of exercise for the promotion of fitness in adults.

 What should I take?
There are so many different styles of martial arts out there and many offer different training styles, and methodologies amongst the most popular are Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Tai Chi, and Kung fu. Martial arts training doesn’t just offer physical improvement, but mental as well. Most classes strive to improve focus and discipline. As an added bonus you gain a sense of accomplishment when you pass that belt test. When choosing what martial art is right for you, you should take the time to visit a school and watch or participate in a class or two before making your decision.

The Downside
Though it is difficult to really find negatives in martial arts training for fitness, this kind of training can increase stress on joints (depending on the martial art).

In conclusion, Martial Arts are proven to be a great alternative to fitness training and provide the student with skills and physical abilities that you could gain by weight training or working solely in the gym.

How to Make $1,000's Weekly with a Health Internet Business of Your very Own

Wise Online Entrepreneurs know that the best selling products online are health products and health-related eBooks, books, tapes, newsletter subscriptions, etc.

Now World famous Dr. Suzanne Gudakunst has just released her latest "shocker!" that makes it possible for just about anyone to profit from this fact.

She's making it possible for someone to get a fully-operational online "store" that specializes in "health-related" goods and services.

Literally now anyone can get a complete Internet "health" business in a box!

This complete website has a main product as well as up to 90 separate products that all center around breakthrough health products. And where YOU can earn some really HUGE CASH!

It seems that Dr. Suzanne has really done her homework (especially for YOUR benefit!)

First she correctly determined that according to Forrester Research (which is perhaps the most powerful & accurate online research database to date!) "health-related" products and information is by far the most sought after things anywhere online.

Nope! -- Despite what you might have thought, "sex," "porn," and "UFOs" are NOT the most searched for items on the Internet (but "health stuff" is hands down!)

Second, Dr. Suzanne's "Top Secret Fat Loss Secret" shook the entire World with its release recently - and she's even made a special lead-capture page that you also get central to this amazing site!

Why is this important?

Simple: because Dr. Suzanne's affiliates are making millions right now with what is perhaps one of ClickBank's HOTTEST products (and this same product is the central seller at your new health e-Biz site!)

Third, the site you get also acts as a "database" that never stops growing so that you get 10,000's of customers you can continue to sell to over and over again other things!

Why is this important?

Again, very simple: anyone who's wise online knows that "backend" sales are chief to making long term and extra profits!

Dr. Suzanne's NEW "Health Biz In a Box" complete and fully-operational website you get for next to nothing contains an electronic "Automatic Sales Manager" (like a salesman robot - Ha!) built-in that works to upsell to your list over and over again so that you enjoy additional "automatic" income!

Fourth, Dr. Suzanne health-biz site also includes a complete health-related products Shopping Mall so that your site visitors stopping by are likely to buy at least 1 to up to 90 additional products creating instantly for you up to over a dozen other income streams!

This way you get the "most bang for your buck" so to speak!

As if all this weren't enough, the fifth (and perhaps the very best) thing about this automatic seller is the tiny spokesmodel "Rachel" that literally walks out onto your Health-Biz site and guides your site visitors (like a tour guide) through your entire site and what it has to offer!

Dr. Suzanne carefully tested the site both WITH and WITHOUT "Rachel" and accurately determined that the addition of "Rachel" boosted sites sales by as much as 396% (meaning nearly 4 times as many sales!)

Dr. Suzanne believes that having the spokesmodel adds credibility as well as an informative approach to the site so that it generates a much higher "conversion-to-sales" ration at large.

And ALL these amazing features stand to make YOU very, very rich as you get all of them with your own "Health Biz In a Box" website!

If any of this floats your boat, then I highly recommend you click below:

...and because rumor has it that Dr. Suzanne may put a ceiling on the number of these Internet "health-biz" sites she's giving out in order to avoid everyone having one and risking market saturation.

Already people securing theirs have had nothing but great things to say about this:

"I'm so happy with mine! ... Having this site professionally set up by Dr. Suzanne's Team for us was the greatest thing we ever did! ... the site literally is just pouring money into our pockets even while we're doing other things, vacationing, and even crashing out!"
-Cynthia Conrad, Atlanta, Georgia

"I never knew that making money online could be so easy!"
-Richard Bosworth, SLC, Utah

"Health stuff is the real way to make money online easily ... everybody sooner or later has to have it!"
-Carla Dupree, Boise, Idaho

"I'm making about $6,000 a week with mine ... and this after failing on the Net for nearly 10 years trying to sell everything else!"
-Jason Herman, San Dimas, CA

"$500 a day is what this biz is shoving in my pocket! I even went out of town for nearly two weeks and my health biz site completely ran itself!"
-Michael Sorbowski, Mason, Ohio

As you can see by these people's comments, everyone grabbing their own automatic health-products Internet business is raking in the cash! (And now you can too!)

Just grab yours now simply by clicking below:

I guess I should have added above that not only do you get all the things I've described thus far, but you also get professional customized set up at no extra charge!

Flatter Firmer Stomach - How to lose belly fat

Everyone's dream, and for so few a reality. It doesn't have to be that hard. A flat firm stomach, or rock hard abs if you so desire, are achievable. Yes, that's what I said, they are achievable!

However, if you have been doing sit ups continually for months and are wondering why you have not achieved your desired 6 pack, then listen up.

First things first, if you have excess abdominal fat, it is not only a serious health risk (think high cholesterol, high blood pressure, increased risk of heart disease) but also, there is no way any amount of crunches is going to give you a flat stomach. You need to reduce the excess fat around your mid section first!

So how do you do this? The best way is through a combination of healthy eating (I hate the word diet) and exercise. You need a program specifically designed with this in mind - not one that is designed to develop a six pack on an already stick thin individual.

Your exercise program should include a combination of resistance training and cardio / aerobic exercise.

Weight training will help increase your lean muscle tissue, tone your muscles, and has the benefit of increasing your metabolism for hours after you've stopped exercising. However, don't focus all of your attention on your mid section or abs! Certainly, that can be one of the areas of focus, but in order to have a strong healthy body you need to have a strong core, back, arms, shoulders etc. This means that you should complete a solid 'whole of body' workout that incorporates a regular abdominal component. Your flat stomach will come - don't you worry about that.

Cardio exercise is important as it will help you burn heaps of calories, and will start to get rid of the subcutaneous fat you have around that 'soon to be flat' stomach of yours.

Try cardio exercise at least 3 times a week in addition to your resistance training. You will be surprised at how quickly your flat stomach starts to develop!
